Ingredients:
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup softened butter
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp pumpkin spice
1/2 can pumpkin puree
Glaze:
2 tbsp milk (I used whole milk, though any milk will do)
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp allspice
Instructions:
Preheat oven for 350.
Use mixer to cream together butter, sugar, and cream cheese in mixing bowl.
After butter and sugar are well blended add eggs and blend together.
Sift dry ingredients into medium bowl.
Pour the liquid mixture into the bowl with dry ingredients and blend well.
Add pumpkin puree and blend again until all ingredients are well blended.
Pour into well greased baking pan and bake for 55 minutes (give or take 5 minutes, it depends on altitude and oven)
Glaze:
After bread has been taken out of the oven and is cooling prepare the glaze
Use a mixing bowl to mix powdered sugar and milk until creamy.
Add vanilla extract and allspice and mix again until well blended.
